Duplicates and empty folders
Review the results, then preview the changes before applying them.
Only identical addresses count as duplicates. Query parameters, fragments, and HTTP versus HTTPS are kept distinct. At least one copy of each address is kept.

A check reports what a website returns. It never deletes a bookmark.
Checks contact the selected websites without signing in or sending cookies. They use a HEAD request and do not follow redirects. A redirect, sign-in requirement, blocked request, or network failure is reported as unknown rather than broken.
Permissions stay in this browser until revoked. Nothing runs on a schedule or checks other bookmarks automatically.
Restore a backup
Import a JSON backup downloaded by this extension.
Imported bookmarks go into a new folder. Existing bookmarks are not replaced or deleted. A backup can contain private addresses and titles; keep it somewhere appropriate.
Choose a backup to see what it contains.
The latest undo record covers one supported operation. A new operation replaces it. Download a backup before a large cleanup, and keep downloaded files until you no longer need them.
