About Better Extensions

We're a team of veterans based in the United States. We started Better Extensions after being hacked through a sound booster app published by malicious developers.

We were also tired of bad extensions advertising themselves as free, then asking for payment when we tried to use the features we needed. We don't want people to spend time installing and learning a tool only to discover a paywall.

With artificial intelligence making software easier to build, we believe there is no need for freemium or “fake free” versions of these tools. All the features should be available from the start, without a paid tier.

Every feature in our extensions is free. There are no ads or tracking, and your content is processed locally on your device. We document each tool's permissions and practical limits so you can decide whether it fits what you need.

You don't owe us anything for using these tools. If you'd like to support the project, our donation page explains its status. Donations aren't set up yet and will always be optional.
