What it does

  • Adjust the typeface, text size, spacing, width, and theme.
  • Download standalone HTML or plain text, or print the article.
  • Keep the original page open while reading a local copy.

How to use it

  1. Open an article and choose Read this page from the extension.
  2. Adjust the reading appearance to suit you.
  3. Download or print a copy to keep it, then discard the temporary article when finished.

Installation

Install in Chrome or Brave

ZIP downloads use the browser’s Developer mode.

  1. Download the ZIP and extract it into a folder you will keep.
  2. Enter chrome://extensions or brave://extensions in the address bar.
  3. Turn on Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose the folder containing manifest.json.
  4. Pin the extension from the toolbar menu, open it, and read the first-use welcome.

Keep the folder in place. To update, replace its files with the new version and select Reload on the browser’s extensions page.
